Getting Married
Congratulations and best wishes!
To get married, you will need a marriage license. You can find information below on getting your marriage license. Once your marriage license is active, you can get married. You can even get married in the courthouse if you want. If you need assistance at any point in the process, feel free to contact us.
What is a marriage license?
A marriage license is a document which authorizes a couple to get married. The marriage license normally has a fee of $86.00 and a wait time of three (3) days. However, the fee can be reduced and wait time can be waived if the couple goes through premarital counseling with an approved provider who is registered in our office. Once your marriage license is active, you will have 60 days to get married.
