REMOVE RECORDS

Removal Instructions

Request must be made in writing and delivered to the Official Records Department. The request must specify the identification page number that contains the exempt personal information to be redacted. A fee may not be charged for the redaction of exempt personal information pursuant to such a request.  

Confidential Personal Information Removal

Request to remove personal information contained in an official record from an image or official record copy from a county website or on a website used by a county recorder to display public records. 

(For persons who qualify under Sections 119.071, 493.6122 and/or 741.465 of the Florida State Statutes)

Social Security Number Removal

Request to remove any social security number contained in an official record from an image or official record copy from a county website or on a website used by a county recorder to display public records.
