May 2024: Angela Olsen
Our Clerk of the Circuit Court EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH for the month of May 2024 is Angela Olson. Angie has been with the Clerk’s Office since January 25, 2021, and is an invaluable asset to the operation of the Finance Department. Angie was nominated by her supervisors, Peter Nikolakakis and Robin Watson, and was selected by Clerk of Court, Jerry Bryant.
Angie holds key responsibility for the Clerk’s Office and Board of County Commissioners daily financial deposits. Angie is also the principal processor of BOCC accounts payable invoices, and she is one of a select few individuals who are trained to process Payroll.
Angie earned recognition as Employee of the Month through her exceptional dedication, unwavering professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the team. With meticulous attention to detail, Angie consistently ensures accuracy in financial reports, effectively streamlining processes and reducing errors. Her proactive approach to problem-solving has not only resolved complex financial issues but has also prevented potential setbacks, showcasing her invaluable foresight and commitment to excellence. Angie's strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond expectations serve as an inspiration to her colleagues, fostering a culture of productivity and mutual support within the office. Her positive attitude and willingness to help others make her an indispensable asset to the finance team, deserving of recognition and appreciation. Our office is very fortunate to have Angie on our team.
In her off-work time, Angie is a free-spirited wanderer with an insatiable thirst for adventure and cultural exploration. With her passport stamped with destinations spanning continents, Angie embodies the essence of a modern-day world traveler. She relishes every new encounter and experience. Whether exploring new landscapes, sampling exotic cuisines, or marveling at ancient ruins, Angie's zest for life is fueled by the endless possibilities that each destination holds.
When not exploring the world or working in the office, Angie spends her free time with her Blue Heeler, Nola, her friends & family here in Okeechobee.
As Employee of the Month for May 2024, Angie will receive an Employee of the Month certificate, and a gift card provided personally by Clerk of Court Jerry Bryant and will have the use of the designated Clerk’s Office “Employee of the Month” parking space.
